Sr. Legal Operations Analyst, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Strategy & Optimization

UKG is hiring a Senior Legal Operations Analyst to lead Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) strategy and optimization at our Charleston, Kanawha County office. In this full-time role, you'll transform how the legal department manages contracts and drive operational excellence across the organization.

The Opportunity

This is your chance to take ownership of UKG's contract lifecycle management program and make a tangible difference in how our legal operations function. As a Senior Legal Operations Analyst, you'll partner with our legal team, business units, and technology partners to design scalable CLM strategies that reduce cycle times, mitigate risk, and support our business growth. Your leadership will set the standard for how thousands of contracts flow through our systems—improving efficiency and compliance at every stage from negotiation through renewal.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Direct CLM platform administration, customization, and continuous improvement to enhance user adoption and process automation
• Create and maintain contract management frameworks, templates, governance guidelines, and playbooks for legal and business teams
• Collaborate with counsel, procurement, finance, and departmental leaders to streamline contracting workflows and remove bottlenecks
• Extract, analyze, and report on CLM metrics to identify trends, surface risks, and recommend strategic improvements
• Manage third-party vendors, software integrations, and system dependencies that support the CLM infrastructure
• Champion cross-functional transformation initiatives such as e-signature deployment, obligation management, or compliance automation
• Coach and develop operations team members; build and maintain searchable process documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing legal operations, contract administration, or business operations; at least 2 years in a CLM leadership or strategy role
• Hands-on experience with CLM software platforms (such as Salesforce, Apptio, Coupa, or equivalent) in a configuration or administration role
• Exceptional analytical mindset and ability to translate complex business requirements into operational solutions and process improvements
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and delivering multi-phase projects on schedule
• Familiarity with process optimization frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma) and workflow automation tools
• Understanding of contract law, legal compliance, vendor management, and procurement operations
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, operations, or related discipline; legal operations certification or paralegal background preferred
