Core Duties

• Operate commercial washers and manually scrub pots, pans, plates glassware, and utensils until they meet exact cleanliness standards
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors, walls, counters, and dishroom machines after service periods
• Sort, bag, and remove waste and recyclables from designated stations throughout the shift
• Restock detergents, rinse agents, clean towels, and clean inventory racks so supplies never run short
• Transport clean items back to cooking and plating areas and return soiled pieces for processing
• Notify supervisors at once about any machine issues or supply shortages that could affect continuity

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven physical endurance for standing long hours, lifting moderate loads, bending, and working in warm kitchen conditions
• Sharp attention to detail that leaves no residue or water spots on finished items
• Dependable attendance and a collaborative attitude that supports fellow kitchen and service staff
• Basic knowledge of commercial dishwashing units and sanitizing chemicals is helpful though not required
