Airwallex is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Billing at our San Francisco office to lead strategic direction and execution of our core billing platform. This full-time position includes relocation to Singapore and offers an opportunity to impact how hundreds of thousands of global businesses manage their financial operations on our unified platform.
About the Role
As Staff Product Manager for Billing, you'll own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our billing products and monetization capabilities. You'll partner across Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Sales to build world-class solutions that directly influence how customers manage payments, invoicing, and financial infrastructure at scale. This high-impact role shapes product decisions that drive business outcomes and customer success globally.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute long-term product strategy for billing, invoicing, payment processing, and monetization systems
- Lead discovery, validation, and prioritization of new features based on customer needs and market opportunities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to deliver seamless, scalable billing solutions
- Partner with Finance and Operations to evolve billing infrastructure, pricing models, and revenue optimization
- Drive data-informed decision-making through analytics, customer research, and business metrics
- Influence cross-functional roadmaps and align teams around billing and payment capabilities
- Enable sales and customer success teams by deepening product capabilities that unlock customer growth
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of product management experience with demonstrated expertise in billing, payments, monetization, or financial platforms
- Proven track record shipping complex, high-impact products in B2B software or fintech environments
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence without direct authority
- Deep proficiency with data analysis, metrics definition, and outcomes-driven product development
- Understanding of billing systems, payment infrastructure, compliance, or financial operations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with disciplined execution
