The Opportunity
Cogentanalytics is seeking a highly driven and self-starting Staff Accountant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on building our inventory processes from the ground up as we scale. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5+ years of hands-on experience, with a focus on evaluating, implementing, and managing a robust inventory tracking system.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement efficient inventory processes
- Build and manage a robust inventory tracking system
- Ensure accuracy in financial records and reports
- Support the finance team with data analysis and reporting
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for accounting operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, preferably in inventory management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
