Role Overview
The Lead Electrician is responsible for managing and executing assigned electrical work from mobilization to completion. This role ensures the delivery of safe, code-compliant, high-quality projects that meet schedule requirements while effectively leading a team of helpers and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create value through safe, quality-driven project execution
- Lead and mentor helpers and apprentices to ensure job site productivity and safety
- Maintain clear communication with the office and leadership regarding job status and progress
- Plan daily work activities, manage material and labor needs, and check quality before leaving the site
- Adhere to safety standards and minimize callbacks and rework
What You Bring
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in commercial projects
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, including OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A valid Journeyman Electrician license required
