Marine Electrician

Venture Dynamics Enterprises is seeking an experienced First-Class Marine Electrician to support critical U.S. Navy and commercial shipyard operations at our Atlantic Beach, Duval County location. This is a full-time position for a skilled electrician ready to contribute expertise to complex naval and commercial vessel repair and new construction projects.

About This Position

As a Marine Electrician with Venture Dynamics Enterprises, you'll take ownership of the installation, repair, and maintenance of advanced electrical systems aboard naval and commercial vessels. Working independently and as part of a skilled team, you'll interpret technical blueprints and schematics, diagnose system failures, and execute repairs to stringent NAVSEA standards and company quality specifications. Your work directly supports critical shipyard operations in Atlantic Beach, ensuring every vessel meets the highest safety and performance benchmarks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Install and maintain shipboard electrical systems, wiring, panels, and components according to NAVSEA specifications and industry codes
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical failures using proper testing equipment and diagnostic techniques
• Interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform cable termination, splicing, and testing to ensure system integrity
• Coordinate with other trades and departments to meet project schedules and quality standards
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations
• Adhere to all safety protocols, company procedures, and NAVSEA compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• First-Class (Journeyman) Marine Electrician certification or equivalent experience
• Proven expertise in shipboard electrical systems and naval applications
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with standard electrical tools and diagnostic testing equipment
• Working knowledge of NAVSEA standards, naval specifications, and maritime codes
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
