Position Summary
Findex is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Virtual Operations Accounting and Taxation Pool team based in New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide). This role will be a permanent, full-time position located within the country.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
- Manage and analyze financial data to support decision-making processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission
- Support the team in maintaining accurate records and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited institution
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero or similar systems
