Role Overview

An exciting opportunity awaits a driven Payroll Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join our well-established global engineering and infrastructure business. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role offers an unparalleled blend of payroll, financial accounting, and management reporting responsibilities, providing comprehensive exposure across the broader finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage employee payroll accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with local and international payroll regulations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Contribute to management reporting by providing timely data insights
• Support the Financial Controller in various finance-related tasks

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in payroll or accounting roles
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
• Familiarity with financial accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
