The Opportunity

Ajax Systems, an international tech company and Europe's largest manufacturer of security systems with over 4.5 million end users and 330K PRO users across more than 180 countries, is seeking a Chief Accountant to join our team in Istanbul. As the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
• Manage the financial team and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights for business decision-making.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is required.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the tech industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide strategic insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex data analysis.
