Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team based in Hamilton, New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide). This role offers hands-on support to our Partners and involves working with a diverse range of clients across the Waikato region.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and reporting for various client segments
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Offer support during audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and advice
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Australian Qualifying Accountant (AQF) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
