Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial manufacturing initiatives at our Phoenix, Maricopa County office. This full-time role offers the opportunity to drive high-impact projects while collaborating with a talented team in one of the country's leading engineering and consulting firms.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager with Black & Veatch, you'll oversee end-to-end project execution for industrial manufacturing clients across the Southwest. You'll own project scope, budget, schedule, and stakeholder relationships—working directly with clients to deliver results that matter. This is a hands-on leadership role where your strategic thinking and detailed execution drive success.

What You'll Do

• Direct planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for industrial manufacturing projects from initiation through closeout
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial performance against projections
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and support staff to meet project objectives and timelines
• Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships; communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to clients and senior leadership
• Identify and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions when conditions change
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases
• Collaborate with business development on new client opportunities and proposal development

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years in industrial manufacturing or related sectors
• Proven track record leading multi-million-dollar projects and managing diverse teams
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, equipment, or plant design
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence across organizational levels
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
• Professional certification (PMP, DBIA, or equivalent) preferred
