About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our commercial operations with rigorous financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. You'll be responsible for analyzing business performance, identifying cost optimization opportunities, and providing actionable financial insights that guide commercial decision-making across our organization.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis on commercial operations, including budget development, variance analysis, and performance reporting
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support commercial strategy and help leadership make data-driven decisions
- Monitor spending trends and cost structures, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and margin enhancement
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data into clear business insights
- Support pricing strategy analysis and profitability assessment across product and customer segments
- Collaborate with commercial, operations, and accounting teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment
- Evaluate business cases for new initiatives and partnerships, assessing financial impact and return on investment
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with demonstrated expertise in commercial or business operations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with business intelligence or reporting tools preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational ability and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of general business operations and commercial metrics
