Position Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer at Conga, you'll be responsible for building the data foundation that enables enterprise analytics and informed decision-making across the organization. Working in partnership with application development teams and business stakeholders, you'll craft data architectures that are both technically sound and aligned with business objectives. Your work will focus on creating normalized, efficient data models that reduce complexity, optimize storage, and accelerate insights—ultimately supporting Conga's mission to help global enterprises manage their commercial operations seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with development teams to establish optimal data representations that support evolving business processes
• Design and implement enterprise data models that minimize redundancy and streamline data movement across systems
• Develop and maintain robust data pipeline architecture capable of handling high-volume imports and delivering scalable solutions
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and iteratively refine conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Build and operate data warehousing solutions that enable internal stakeholders and clients to extract actionable insights
• Establish and enforce operational procedures that ensure data quality, consistency, and efficiency at scale
• Contribute to continuous platform improvement by identifying opportunities and researching emerging best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with demonstrated expertise in data modeling, analytics, and enterprise reporting
• Hands-on proficiency designing and implementing relational databases within large-scale enterprise environments
• Deep knowledge of modern data modeling techniques, dimensional modeling, data warehousing principles, SQL, reporting solutions, and business intelligence best practices
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI
• Required: Proven experience designing and delivering Snowflake-based solutions
• Demonstrated ability building ETL pipelines and data integration workflows, particularly using Matillion ETL
• Practical experience with Python; comfort leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance automation
• Familiarity with Salesforce data models and SSIS is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Self-directed mindset with attention to detail; ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments
• Entrepreneurial spirit—proactive about identifying and championing improvements beyond your immediate responsibilities
• Clear communicator who builds trust through active listening and adaptability across diverse stakeholder groups
• Bonus: Relevant certifications in Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or AI technologies
