Au Pair | Kyalami | R7000 per month

Join Au Pair Extraordinaire as a full-time Au Pair based in Kyalami, Midrand, North Johannesburg. We are seeking a caring and responsible individual to provide dedicated childcare support for a 4-year-old girl in a family home setting.

About the Role

This is a full-time au pair position offering the opportunity to become an integral part of a family household whilst providing consistent childcare support. You'll work within a structured schedule across school terms and holiday periods, caring for a young child in the Kyalami area. The role centres on school collection, afternoon supervision, and creating a nurturing environment for a preschool-aged child.

Responsibilities

• Collect the child from school each weekday afternoon (Monday–Friday, 16:00–18:00)
• Provide attentive supervision and engage the child in age-appropriate activities
• Assist with morning school drop-offs when required, with prior notice and additional compensation
• Support the child's daily care needs, including meals, hygiene, and routine activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating home environment
• Follow family routines, household guidelines, and safeguarding practices
• Adapt to slightly flexible scheduling during school holiday periods

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience caring for young children, particularly preschool-aged children
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent quality childcare
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with children and families
• Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport for school collection
• Willingness to embrace flexible scheduling during school holidays
• Genuine passion for supporting child development and wellbeing
