Au Pair Extraordinaire is seeking a caring, dependable Au Pair to join a family in the Lynnwood area of Pretoria, Tshwane. This full-time role offers a monthly salary of R11,500–R12,000 for dedicated childcare and household support.
About the Role
You'll be working three days each week—Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday—from 07:30 until 15:30, providing attentive care for a one-year-old girl. Your role is essential to the family's routine, and they're looking for someone who brings both professionalism and genuine affection to infant care.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily supervision and general childcare for an infant, including play and engagement
- Preparing meals and snacks tailored to the child's developmental stage
- Nappy changing and maintaining appropriate hygiene standards
- Managing nap times and establishing consistent sleep routines
- Bathing and dressing support as required
- Providing emotional comfort and soothing during the working day
- Laundry and light housekeeping specific to the child's needs
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience caring for babies under two years old
- A patient, calm, and compassionate approach to infant care
- Trustworthiness and strong reliability with set working hours
- Ability to follow family routines whilst bringing creative play ideas
- Good communication with parents and openness to feedback
- Commitment to providing safe, stimulating care for the child's development
- First aid certification preferred
