About the Role

As a Senior Consultant in Claims, you'll serve as a trusted expert in management liability and specialty surety claims, bringing strategic expertise to complex case resolution and claims management. Your deep knowledge of this specialty will directly shape how we serve our policyholders and underwriting partners across the nation.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate, manage, and resolve management liability claims with attention to coverage analysis, damages assessment, and risk mitigation
  • Handle surety bond claims including performance bonds, payment bonds, and other specialty surety matters
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams and external partners on complex liability and specialty line scenarios
  • Develop claim strategies that balance policyholder needs with sound claims practices and legal compliance
  • Maintain detailed documentation and communicate findings clearly across multidisciplinary teams
  • Stay current on evolving coverage issues, regulatory changes, and industry developments in management liability and surety

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 7+ years of claims experience, with substantial background in management liability and/or specialty surety lines
  • Deep technical knowledge of coverage interpretation, policy provisions, and liability claim dynamics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex scenarios and recommend sound resolutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—you'll explain intricate claims matters to diverse audiences
  • Claims adjuster license or demonstrated pathway to licensure preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams across the organization
  • Commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance in all claims matters
