About the Role

This role serves as the primary liaison between Nationwide and pet‑focused agency partners, leveraging consultative expertise to expand market presence and deliver tailored insurance solutions that protect pets and their owners.

What You'll Do

• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with pet agency representatives, understanding their business goals and aligning Nationwide’s offerings accordingly.
• Identify new business opportunities within the pet agency channel and create strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Provide consultative guidance on product features, underwriting considerations, and risk management solutions tailored to pet‑related exposures.
• Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and claims teams to ensure seamless service delivery and timely resolution of partner inquiries.
• Monitor key performance indicators, analyze sales trends, and report insights to senior leadership to inform channel strategy.
• Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and activities in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
• Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activities affecting the pet insurance market.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in relationship management, account consultancy, or sales within the insurance, pet industry, or related financial services sectors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Analytical mindset; comfort interpreting data and translating insights into actionable plans.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with insurance agency management systems is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with agency partners and attend industry events.
