About the Role
As an Animal Care Specialist (Swine Industry) with The Clemens Food Group in Morristown, Shelby County, you will play a hands-on part in the daily wellbeing of our herd. Working alongside a dedicated farm team at Country View Family Farms (CVFF), you will support a forward-thinking swine operation built around humane care, strong biosecurity, and dependable day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, humane care to sows and piglets throughout each stage of their development.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and respond promptly to signs of illness or distress.
- Follow strict biosecurity protocols to protect herd health and prevent the spread of disease.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized barn and housing environments.
- Assist with feeding, handling, and routine husbandry tasks in line with operational standards.
