SEO & AI Content Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization in Paris that is transforming how businesses manage their financial operations. Our client is seeking an SEO & AI Content Specialist to join their Growth team and drive organic discovery through search engines and emerging AI platforms.

This role sits at the intersection of traditional SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), focusing on creating high-quality content that attracts non-branded traffic and converts prospects. You'll work closely with an SEO Manager to build scalable content workflows that leverage AI tools while maintaining editorial excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered content workflows using tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity to accelerate research, outlining, drafting, and optimization while maintaining high editorial standards
• Create repeatable processes including content briefs, quality checklists, templates, and editorial guidelines to scale production efficiently
• Write, update, and optimize SEO content including articles, pillar pages, and landing pages that generate organic traffic and conversions
• Transform search intent into clear, useful, and well-structured content for target audiences
• Execute continuous optimization initiatives: content refreshes, consolidation, internal linking strategies, and on-page improvements
• Develop the organization's GEO approach by understanding how prospects use AI-powered discovery tools and adapting content for visibility in AI-generated answers
• Test content formats and structures that improve discoverability across emerging AI search journeys without compromising human reader experience
• Monitor SEO performance metrics including visibility, rankings, impressions, clicks, CTR, organic traffic, and conversions
• Translate data into actionable recommendations, run experiments, measure impact, and iterate quickly
• Collaborate with Growth stakeholders to ensure content supports broader acquisition priorities

What We're Looking For

• Fluent in French with strong writing and editing skills, plus professional working proficiency in English
• Hands-on SEO experience with published content examples you can share
• Proven ability to improve content performance and turn good pages into high-performing assets
• Data-informed approach: you form hypotheses, test them, measure outcomes, and iterate based on results
• Active user of AI tools in your workflow with enthusiasm to deepen your practice
• Sharp eye for structure, clarity, accuracy, and editorial quality
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, collaborative environments with ability to focus on high-impact initiatives
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, and content management systems
