The Opportunity
Daniels Health is expanding and seeks a motivated Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a leader in healthcare waste management, we operate like a transportation and manufacturing organization, dealing with complex logistics, operational teams, safety-focused processes, and fast-moving workforce needs. In this role, you will oversee the full recruitment process, collaborate closely with hiring managers, and contribute to building robust talent pipelines that support our ongoing growth.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including initial meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, offer management, and contract preparation.
- Work with hiring managers to identify business needs, define role requirements, and create accurate, compelling position descriptions.
- Support new hire onboarding to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
- Advise on recruitment best practices, including market insights, compensation benchmarking, candidate assessment, and selection strategy.
- Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical roles to support current and future business needs.
- Ensure candidates complete all pre-hire requirements, such as background checks and role-specific steps.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company recruitment policies.
- Stay informed about recruiting trends, market conditions, and HR topics to support continuous improvement in our hiring processes.
Requirements
Candidates should have a proven track record in talent acquisition, with experience managing full-cycle recruitment. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, and a strategic mindset are essential. Experience in healthcare or related industries would be advantageous.
