About This Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Class B driver with professional box truck driving experience to operate a 26-foot box truck across the Des Moines, Iowa area. The position involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations while delivering high-level customer service daily.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class B box truck (26 feet) for collection and delivery of medical waste and sharps.
- Collect sharps and medical waste containers from various healthcare customer locations in the Des Moines, Iowa area.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the job.
- Provide excellent customer service to healthcare facilities during collections and deliveries.
Skills & Qualifications
- Professional box truck driving experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred but not required.
- Valid Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements.
- Prior experience in medical waste or hazardous material handling is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
