What This Role Involves
As a Senior Sales Development Representative at Powtoon in London, you'll own the early-stage revenue conversation. Your mission is to identify, engage, and qualify high-potential prospects who can benefit from Powtoon's video creation and animation technology, then hand off qualified opportunities to our sales team. You'll be the first impression our prospects have of Powtoon, setting the tone for meaningful business relationships.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify target accounts and decision-makers aligned with Powtoon's ideal customer profile
- Execute outbound prospecting through multi-channel campaigns including email, telephone, and LinkedIn messaging
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect challenges, goals, and fit with our solutions
- Qualify leads using a structured methodology, documenting interactions in our CRM
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities and drive deal progression
- Meet and exceed monthly prospecting and qualification targets
- Provide market insights to the sales leadership team based on prospect conversations
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding prospecting and qualification goals
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage prospects professionally
- Excellent organisational skills and self-motivation; ability to manage your own pipeline independently
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
- Genuine interest in video creation software, SaaS, or related creative technology
- Resilience and positivity in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
