About the Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager focused on data center construction, you will lead the commercial and cost management of complex, high-value facilities from early estimating through to final account. Based in the Village of Los Ranchos, Bernalillo County, this full-time, on-site position places you at the center of mission-critical infrastructure that supports the digital economy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end cost control across all phases of data center construction projects, from concept to completion.
• Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, budgets, and feasibility assessments.
• Oversee procurement strategy, tendering, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
• Track expenditure, value variations, and report on commercial performance to clients and stakeholders.
• Negotiate and settle final accounts while safeguarding value and managing financial risk.
• Partner with design teams, contractors, and clients to drive efficient, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or data center environments.
• Strong command of cost estimating, contract administration, and commercial reporting.
• Working knowledge of relevant forms of contract and procurement routes.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Relevant degree and/or professional accreditation in quantity surveying or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Able to work on-site in the Village of Los Ranchos, Bernalillo County.
