Senior Python / Agentic AI Engineer H/F

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential financial services consulting organization seeking a Senior Python / Agentic AI Engineer to join their Technology & Engineering teams. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy next-generation artificial intelligence solutions on strategic projects involving Large Language Models (LLM) and Agentic AI architectures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing enterprise-grade Python applications integrating Agentic AI architectures and Large Language Models
• Architecting intelligent agent workflows, orchestration mechanisms, and knowledge retrieval systems (RAG, semantic indexing, enterprise data access)
• Building robust back-end services that integrate AI models, business tools, APIs, and existing information systems while ensuring performance, observability, and maintainability
• Collaborating with business, technical, and architecture teams to transform functional requirements into secure, scalable AI solutions that meet regulatory requirements
• Contributing to architectural decisions, software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, monitoring, prompt and model management), and the evolution of GenAI offerings

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing Python applications in enterprise environments with solid mastery of software engineering principles
• Demonstrated experience designing and deploying production solutions based on LLMs or Agentic AI architectures
• Excellent command of Python, APIs, distributed architectures, design patterns, and DevOps practices
• Experience designing systems combining reasoning, agent orchestration, knowledge access, tool integration, and enterprise data exploitation
• Ability to thrive in complex, regulated, international environments with excellent communication skills in French and English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI or equivalent
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and associated AI services
• Experience developing user interfaces with Angular or React
• Knowledge of financial, banking, or insurance environments
• Cloud, Generative AI, or Machine Learning certifications
