CBRE is hiring a Senior Project Manager and Team Lead for ground-up retail construction projects serving financial services clients in Atlanta, Fulton County. This is a full-time position where you'll lead complex projects from conception to completion, guiding a team and delivering strategic value to high-profile accounts.
About the Role
In this senior project management position, you'll deliver consulting expertise to assigned market accounts and key clients, driving project success while advancing CBRE's strategic priorities. You'll manage the entire project lifecycle—from planning and budgeting through execution and closeout—while building and leading a team that serves financial services sector clients undertaking new retail construction initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead ground-up retail construction projects from initiation through substantial completion, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget
- Provide strategic consulting to financial services clients navigating complex retail development opportunities
- Manage project teams, coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders, and oversee day-to-day project operations
- Develop comprehensive project plans, identify and mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders and serve as primary contact for assigned accounts
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and report progress to senior leadership and clients
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing large-scale, ground-up retail construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop project teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, scheduling, and cost management
- Experience serving financial services sector clients or similar complex, regulated industries
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent advanced experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
