About the Role

In this senior leadership position, you'll own marketing finance strategy and analytical capabilities across Airbnb's diverse business segments. You'll translate complex business challenges into financial models and data insights that guide executive decision-making. Your leadership will establish the analytical rigor and financial discipline that enable Airbnb to optimize marketing investments globally.

What You'll Do

• Develop comprehensive financial models, budget plans, and forecasts for marketing initiatives across all business segments and geographies
• Design and implement analytics frameworks that measure marketing effectiveness, customer acquisition economics, and long-term value creation
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, finance, product, and analytics teams to align strategic objectives with financial performance
• Build analytical dashboards and reporting systems that translate financial and performance data into clear insights for senior leaders
• Identify business optimization opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments based on financial analysis and market insights
• Lead and develop analytics and finance teams, instilling best practices in data quality, methodology, and insight generation
• Communicate financial and analytical findings to C-suite executives, clearly articulating strategic implications and recommendations

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in strategic finance, business analytics, or financial planning, with a strong background in marketing economics or go-to-market strategy
• Demonstrated success managing substantial marketing budgets and driving financial performance in dynamic organizations
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and fluency with analytics platforms
• Excellent executive communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights and storytelling
• Proven success building analytical capabilities and leading analytically mature teams
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, data science, mathematics, or related field
