About the Role
As Senior Counsel focusing on Commercial & Partnerships, you will be a trusted legal advisor to business teams navigating high-stakes commercial negotiations, partnership agreements, and contractual relationships. This is a hands-on counsel role that combines strategic thinking with day-to-day legal execution, directly supporting the company's growth across multiple lines of business.
What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including partnership contracts, vendor agreements, and licensing deals
- Advise business stakeholders on legal risk, strategic alternatives, and compliance considerations in partnership structures and commercial arrangements
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams in business development, product, operations, and finance
- Identify and resolve complex legal issues arising from commercial relationships and platform partnerships
- Contribute to the development of commercial legal policy and internal contracting standards
- Support the broader legal department on special projects and emerging business opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor with admission to practice law in the United States
- 5+ years of corporate legal experience, with substantial focus on commercial contracts and partnership agreements
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work effectively with business leaders and external counsel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
- Sound judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to prioritize across competing demands
- Experience in a fast-paced environment and comfort working on diverse legal matters simultaneously
