About the Role
As Construction Superintendent for UIC Nappairit operations in the Baton Rouge area, you'll take charge of all on-site and off-site activities across the full lifecycle of construction contracts. This role demands hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering excellence in every project phase.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate construction crews and subcontractor teams working on civil and vertical structures
- Manage day-to-day site operations, including facilities, accommodations, and logistics
- Oversee all stages of project execution—from contract mobilization through warranty completion
- Enforce strict safety protocols and quality standards across all activities
- Plan and execute equipment mobilization, demobilization, and site transitions
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and report status to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a construction superintendent or senior construction supervisor
- Deep knowledge of civil and structural construction methods and materials
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage field teams of varying sizes
- Strong command of safety regulations and industry best practices
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors and external partners
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
