As an Assistant Manager I at Family Dollar in Palmetto, you'll work alongside store leadership to keep daily operations running smoothly. You'll play a direct role in developing your team, serving customers, and maintaining a well-organized, welcoming store environment.

What You'll Do

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day store functions and operational workflows
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner, resolving questions and concerns promptly
• Receive, organize, and stock incoming merchandise to keep shelves full and displays presentable
• Coach and motivate team members to meet performance standards and deliver consistent customer experiences
• Help enforce company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention practices
• Step into the Store Manager role as needed to ensure uninterrupted store operations

What We're Looking For

• Prior retail, customer service, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to shifting priorities
• Basic merchandising, inventory, and cash handling familiarity
