About This Position
As a Senior Power Engineer, Utility Interconnection, you will play a critical role in our team, contributing to the design, implementation, and management of utility interconnection projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative renewable energy projects from the comfort of your home.
What You'll Do
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for utility interconnection projects.
- Develop and review engineering designs for renewable energy systems, ensuring they meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and regulatory compliance officers.
- Prepare and present project reports and presentations to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements in utility interconnection.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in utility interconnection or renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of utility interconnection regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Siemens NX.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
