About the Role
As a Senior Portfolio Investment Analyst specializing in fixed income, you'll play a key role in our investment research and portfolio management process. Working within our larger investment team, you'll evaluate credit quality, interest rate risks, market opportunities, and valuation drivers across fixed income markets. Your analysis will inform portfolio construction and investment decisions for clients across multiple strategies and account types.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of fixed income securities, including corporate bonds, government debt, and structured products
- Assess credit risk, duration exposure, and relative value opportunities within fixed income markets
- Build financial models and utilize quantitative tools to support investment recommendations
- Monitor portfolio positioning and market developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and fellow analysts to develop and refine investment strategies
- Prepare investment materials, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and clients
- Stay current with economic trends, regulatory changes, and fixed income market dynamics
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in fixed income portfolio management, investment research, or related analytical role
- Strong proficiency with financial modeling and securities analysis
- Solid understanding of fixed income markets, credit analysis, and portfolio construction principles
- Advanced skills with Bloomberg, FactSet, or comparable investment research platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
- CFA designation or progress toward certification valued
