What This Role Involves
The Senior Paralegal role at CGS Federal is a pivotal position within our fast-paced legal team. Responsibilities include managing eDiscovery activities, workflow coordination, and providing comprehensive support to attorneys in various litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Prepares complex technical legal documents.
- Reviews incoming documents and materials, considering case status and nature.
- Compiles indictments, arrest warrants, summonses, motions, orders, non-disclosure applications, plea agreements, subpoenas, and legal memoranda.
- Obtains necessary information from criminal case files or law enforcement agencies for inclusion in legal documents before submission to the appropriate AUSA for review.
- Ensures compliance with local court rules and style/format guidelines when preparing recurring legal documents.
- Assists attorneys in trial preparation by compiling trial and witness notebooks, organizing exhibits, assembling jury instructions, and other related tasks.
