About the Role

As the Senior Manager, Clinical Vendor Contracts & Alliance Management within Clinical Operations at Agios Pharmaceuticals, you will own the relationships and agreements that connect our clinical programs to the external partners delivering them. Based in Trammells, Harris County, this on-site position sits at the intersection of contracting, vendor governance, and cross-functional collaboration in support of our rare disease mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of clinical vendor contracts across the trial lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary alliance manager for key clinical vendors, fostering productive, accountable working relationships.
• Partner with Clinical Operations teams to align vendor scope, deliverables, and timelines with study needs.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues to keep clinical programs on track.
• Collaborate across functions to strengthen governance, communication, and continuous improvement with external partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in clinical vendor contracting, alliance management, or clinical operations within pharmaceuticals or biotech.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills, with the ability to balance commercial and operational priorities.
• Familiarity with clinical trial processes and the vendors that support them.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Comfort working on-site in Trammells, Harris County, in a full-time capacity.
