About the Role

As Senior Manager of Patient Access & Reimbursement Services, you'll direct market access initiatives and patient advocacy programs that remove barriers to treatment. You'll oversee reimbursement strategy, payer engagement, and access solutions while advancing Agios's mission to connect patients with the therapies they need. This leadership position combines strategic planning with cross-functional collaboration across medical, sales, and commercial teams.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute patient access and reimbursement strategies for assigned geographic markets
• Build and lead a team focused on payer relationships, coverage strategies, and patient assistance programs
• Analyze market dynamics, coverage barriers, and reimbursement trends to identify opportunities
• Collaborate with medical affairs, sales, and legal teams to address coverage challenges and payer concerns
• Manage patient assistance and co-pay mitigation programs to ensure accessibility
• Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory changes affecting market access
• Present market access findings and recommendations to regional and executive leadership

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or healthcare-related advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in patient access, reimbursement, market access, or related roles in pharmaceutical or life sciences
• Proven track record leading teams and driving cross-functional initiatives
• Deep knowledge of payer landscapes, coverage policies, and reimbursement processes
• Strong analytical and project management skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively
