Senior Insurance Defense Attorney

About the Role

This full-time position offers the chance to take on complex defense matters across multiple practice areas. You'll manage cases independently, represent clients in settlement negotiations and court proceedings, and contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence in insurance defense litigation.

What You'll Do

• Handle insurance defense cases across personal injury, product liability, and professional liability matters
• Represent clients in construction defect litigation and related commercial disputes
• Manage case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
• Negotiate settlements and argue motions in state and federal courts
• Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals on case management and legal strategy
• Contribute to firm growth and client relationship development

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in insurance defense or related civil litigation
• Proven trial experience and litigation management skills
• Strong written and oral advocacy abilities
• California bar license in good standing
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently
• Collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues
