About the Role
As a Senior, Indirect Tax - Global Trade advisor, you'll partner with multinational organizations to design and execute sophisticated trade strategies. You'll combine deep expertise in customs law, tariff management, and trade policy with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable business recommendations for C-suite executives and trade compliance teams.
What You'll Do
- Advise Fortune 100 and Global 500 companies on tariff classification, trade valuation, trade agreement optimization, and supply chain restructuring
- Develop comprehensive global trade and tariff planning strategies that minimize indirect tax exposure while supporting business growth
- Conduct trade compliance risk assessments and customs duty audits for multinational organizations operating across multiple jurisdictions
- Support clients with customs authority relations, trade remedial investigations, and trade agreement utilization strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams spanning finance, procurement, logistics, and legal to execute complex trade initiatives
- Monitor and interpret evolving US customs law, international trade regulations, and sanctions requirements affecting client operations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in global trade consulting, customs law, tariff management, or related indirect tax advisory roles
- Demonstrated expertise in US customs regulations, trade agreements, tariff classification, and international trade compliance
- Proven track record advising multinational corporations on trade strategy, cost reduction, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to regulatory and technical detail
- Excellent ability to communicate complex trade concepts clearly to both technical specialists and executive stakeholders
- CPA, EA, or CBP certification preferred
