Senior Funnel Specialist (m/w/d)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in Hamburg who is looking for a Senior Funnel Specialist to own the complete customer journey from first ad impression through to purchase conversion. This is not about writing copy that sounds good—this is about writing copy that sells.

Our client operates in the fashion retail space and has experienced exceptional growth across European markets. They are now scaling to nine-figure annual revenue and need someone who can craft persuasive messaging across every touchpoint in the funnel.

You'll work closely with performance marketing and creative teams to build new content formats and optimize conversion at every stage.

Responsibilities

• Write ad copy, product descriptions, and website content that guides users from awareness to purchase
• Approach performance marketing as applied psychology—persuading both emotionally and rationally
• Build authority and trust through social proof, testimonials, and credible references
• Develop new content funnel formats including advertorials, listicles, and native advertising through online publications
• Craft relatable storytelling that reinforces the brand's unique selling proposition
• Reduce purchase friction by implementing trust signals (payment options, guarantees) throughout the site
• Deeply understand target audience needs and maintain consistent brand voice across all touchpoints
• Collaborate with media buyers and understand Facebook Ads mechanics (you won't run campaigns, but you'll write for them)

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 3 years of copywriting experience in marketing environments (product copy, website content, or similar)
• Excellent written German AND English
• Background as a Creative Strategist, Media Buyer, Copywriter, or a combination of these roles
• Strong research skills, creative writing ability, and understanding of purchase decision psychology
• Foundational knowledge of media buying and how Facebook Ads function
• Ideally, experience writing in direct-response marketing environments
• Solid computer literacy and familiarity with digital marketing tools
• Portfolio or work samples required with application (listicles, ad copy examples)—your writing speaks louder than your CV
