Position Summary

Manage the procurement process, including REQ/RFQ/PO issuance and purchasing of spare parts, stores, services, and repairs to meet vessel schedules. Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and requirements. Quality control in order to reduce goods rejection. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the procurement process for spare parts, stores, services, and repairs.
• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and requirements.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize goods rejection rates.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships for continuous improvement.
