About the Role

In this position, you'll serve as a senior technical resource on multi-disciplinary project teams, guiding clients through complex federal and state environmental requirements. You'll work directly out of the Dallas, TX office and collaborate with colleagues across EnSafe's national footprint on a wide range of compliance engagements.

What You'll Do

  • Lead environmental compliance audits, gap analyses, and regulatory assessments for clients across multiple industry sectors
  • Interpret and apply federal EPA regulations alongside Texas-specific requirements under TCEQ jurisdiction
  • Prepare technical reports, compliance plans, permit applications, and agency correspondence
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations to evaluate compliance status and identify corrective actions
  • Coordinate directly with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients
  • Develop and maintain environmental management systems and compliance tracking tools
  • Mentor junior environmental staff and contribute to quality review of team deliverables
  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in environmental compliance consulting or a related regulatory environment
  • Working knowledge of Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA, CERCLA, and Texas environmental statutes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience translating technical findings for non-technical stakeholders
  • Professional certification (CEP, CHMM, or PE) is a plus
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Dallas, TX area — this role is not remote
