About this role & career path

Senior labor & employment counsel work builds depth in employment law, healthcare workforce structures, and risk management inside a Fortune-scale distributor. Paths often stay in-house (principal counsel, employment practice lead) or move to broader legal leadership; external options include health-system or provider-group counsel roles.

Build the skills for this role

Prioritize: employment counseling and litigation support; healthcare/MSO and physician contracting issues; policy drafting; investigation skills; clear advice under tight operational timelines. No certification list or costs were provided for this role family.

  • Walk through complex employment matters you owned end-to-end
  • Explain experience with MSOs, physicians, or multi-entity workforces
  • Show how you partner with HR and operations in regulated industries
  • Discuss Cardinal’s distributor model and why L&E risk matters there

Strong fit if you are a seasoned employment lawyer who can advise at scale on workforce and physician/MSO issues inside healthcare services. Less fit if you want remote-first work or pure transactional corporate law without labor depth.
