What This Role Involves

The Manager, Specialty Programs, Meetings & Events will be responsible for leading and managing specialty programs that support meetings and events. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure successful execution of events, including planning, budgeting, logistics, and vendor management. The position requires a strong focus on meeting objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination and execution of specialty programs, meetings, and events for Cardinal Health's Specialty Networks solutions in Urology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and Oncology.
• Develop and manage event budgets to ensure financial goals are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, finance, and IT to plan and execute events that align with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Cardinal Health policies during the planning and execution of events.
• Evaluate event outcomes and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in event management or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management for events.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality events that meet or exceed client expectations.
