The Opportunity

At Urban Synergy, we are seeking a dynamic and passionate Engagement & Events Coordinator to join our team in London. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our community engagement initiatives and events that directly impact the lives of young people aged 9-24 years old.

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of various events including workshops, seminars, and community gatherings
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential partners and stakeholders to enhance collaboration opportunities
• Manage event logistics, including venue bookings, catering, and other necessary arrangements
• Create engaging content for promotional materials and social media campaigns
• Analyze event outcomes and provide insights for continuous improvement

Your Responsibilities

The Engagement & Events Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events
• Managing budgets and ensuring financial accountability for all events
• Overseeing the setup and breakdown of event venues as needed
• Maintaining accurate records of event details, participant lists, and feedback
• Collaborating with marketing teams to promote events through various channels

Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in event planning or a related field
• A strong understanding of social mobility and its impact on young people's lives
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking experience
• Familiarity with event management software and tools
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to social causes
