Senior Clinical Research Associate – CNS/Psychiatry – Northeast – Remote

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential contract research organization seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate specializing in CNS and Psychiatry studies. This remote position offers the opportunity to manage critical clinical trial activities across research sites in the Northeastern United States.

In this role, you'll oversee research activities at participating clinical sites, working across all study phases from site identification and activation through closeout. You'll conduct study initiation visits, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain quality standards while managing most site interactions remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical research activities at multiple sites participating in CNS and psychiatry trials
• Identify and qualify potential research sites for clinical studies
• Perform study start-up activities including regulatory document collection and site training
• Support contract and budget negotiations with research sites
• Conduct study initiation visits and ongoing site monitoring
• Train site personnel on proper data collection procedures and safety event reporting
• Ensure compliance with informed consent processes and regulatory requirements
• Oversee site activities during study maintenance phases
• Manage study closeout activities at research sites

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate
• 4-year university degree or Nursing Degree required
• Experience in CNS/Neurology required; Psychiatry experience strongly preferred
• Must reside in the Northeastern United States
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English
• Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC Systems
• Willingness to travel regionally as required
