About the Role

We seek an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence within our capital markets division. Based in our Charlotte office, you will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and market operations, translating complex financial requirements into actionable solutions and continuous improvements.

What You'll Do

• Analyze capital markets workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process enhancements that drive profitability and risk mitigation
• Gather and document detailed business requirements from senior stakeholders, traders, and operations teams
• Develop comprehensive specifications for system enhancements, integrations, and new trading platforms
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and business decisions
• Collaborate with technology, compliance, and risk teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory standards and operational requirements
• Monitor key performance metrics and produce analytical reports for executive leadership
• Support cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation and validation

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of business analysis experience, with demonstrated expertise in capital markets, financial services, or investment banking environments
• Deep knowledge of capital markets operations, trading workflows, and market infrastructure
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proven project management expertise and comfort working in fast-paced, complex environments
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and financial systems
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
