Industrial Hygienist

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, a division of Chenega Professional Services, is seeking a full-time Industrial Hygienist to join our Atlanta, Fulton County team. In this role, you will drive the development of occupational health and safety standards by applying specialized industrial hygiene expertise to identify, evaluate, and control workplace hazards.

About the Role

As an Industrial Hygienist with Chenega Corporation, you will contribute directly to the creation of recommended national occupational health and safety standards for specific workplace hazards. This is a critical position for professionals who are passionate about protecting worker safety and advancing evidence-based occupational health practices.

What You'll Do

• Apply industrial hygiene principles to assess and evaluate specific occupational hazards
• Contribute to the development and refinement of occupational health and safety standards
• Conduct research and analysis to inform recommended national standards for hazard control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on occupational safety initiatives
• Document findings and maintain detailed technical records of hygiene assessments
• Stay current with emerging occupational health regulations and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Professional certification as an Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or related industrial hygiene credential
• Strong technical knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and protocols
• Experience evaluating workplace hazards and recommending control measures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on teams and manage multiple initiatives
• Detail-oriented approach to technical documentation and analysis
