Senior Agent Product Manager

Retell-ai is hiring a Senior Agent Product Manager to lead enterprise implementations of intelligent voice agents in the San Francisco Bay Area. This full-time role sits at the intersection of customer success, product strategy, and technical execution at one of the fastest-growing voice AI platforms.

Position Summary

As a Senior Agent Product Manager, you'll own the entire customer engagement lifecycle—from identifying automation opportunities through production deployment and optimization. You'll guide enterprises in reimagining their customer operations around conversational AI, working directly with executive stakeholders and engineering teams to translate business challenges into scalable solutions. This role demands someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, communicates across technical and non-technical audiences, and thrives in environments where ambiguity is the starting condition.

Your Responsibilities

• Orchestrate full-cycle customer implementations, managing scope, execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery success.
• Conduct discovery sessions with customers to understand business objectives, operational workflows, and AI automation opportunities.
• Develop deep expertise in voice AI, conversational design, prompt engineering, and Retell's platform capabilities.
• Design scalable voice workflows, deployment architectures, and integration strategies tailored to customer needs.
• Build prototypes and proofs-of-concept that validate assumptions and guide architectural decisions.
• Mentor customer teams through technical implementation decisions and tradeoff analysis.
• Facilitate strategic planning workshops, process reviews, and capability roadmaps with customer leadership.
• Create ROI models and business cases that quantify impact and inform initiative prioritization.
• Support sales through solution design, competitive positioning, and customer presentations.
• Collaborate across Retell's product, engineering, and customer success teams to unblock progress.
• Communicate project status, risks, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights that inform platform direction.
• Document repeatable deployment frameworks and best practices for scaled customer success.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills; you build credibility quickly with executives, engineers, and operational leaders.
• Background in deployment, implementation, solutions consulting, product management, or forward-deployed engineering.
• Proven ability to write requirements, technical specifications, project plans, and business documentation.
• Experience developing business cases, conducting ROI analysis, and building value-based proposals.
• Strong product intuition; you map workflows, spot friction points, and envision scalable solutions.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business strategy; you speak both languages fluently.
• Comfort navigating complex technical conversations outside your primary expertise; you learn quickly and ask insightful questions.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI, language models, voice technology, and their business applications.
• Demonstrated ownership mentality; you move work forward decisively even under uncertainty.
• Strong project management discipline; you organize multi-stakeholder efforts and drive them from concept to production.
