SCA Senior Cook (Conformance)

Sodexo is looking for an SCA Senior Cook (Conformance) to lead our culinary operations in Hinesville, Liberty County, near Fort Stewart. In this full-time role, you'll combine hands-on cooking expertise with supervisory responsibilities, managing food preparation while upholding Sodexo's rigorous standards for quality, safety, and compliance.

About the Role

As an SCA Senior Cook at our Hinesville location, you'll bridge skilled culinary work with team leadership. You'll oversee daily kitchen operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure every meal meets our strict quality and food safety benchmarks. Your flexibility with rotating schedules and commitment to excellence will be central to our success.

What You'll Do

• Direct food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• Maintain rigorous food safety and sanitation protocols across all kitchen areas
• Supervise and train junior culinary staff on cooking techniques and conformance procedures
• Manage prep stations, equipment, and kitchen inventory with attention to cost control
• Contribute to menu planning and support consistent execution of daily meal service
• Adapt to rotating shifts and varying daily schedules with professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a cook or senior cook in high-volume food service operations
• Strong foundation in food safety, sanitation, and quality conformance standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and communicate effectively with kitchen teams
• Solid culinary skills and ability to execute recipes with precision and consistency
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and days; open availability is strongly preferred
• Dedication to food quality, workplace safety, and team development

Compensation & Schedule

This full-time position pays $21.04 per hour. You'll work on varying shifts and days; additional schedule details will be discussed during your interview.
