SAP PP Consultant AMS (Remote, Cluj/Romania)

We're recruiting a SAP Production Planning Consultant to join the Application Management Services team at a newly established global technology hub based in Cluj, Romania. This is a foundational role in a growing delivery center supporting international operations.

The Opportunity

A major multinational organization is building its SAP delivery hub in Romania, creating a unique chance to establish best practices and shape processes from inception. The AMS team supports Finance, Logistics, Production, and Human Resources systems across global business operations. As a SAP PP Consultant, you'll be central to ensuring Production Planning runs smoothly, handling the full spectrum of support activities while collaborating across module boundaries.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide escalated technical support for SAP Production Planning functions including Material Requirement Planning, Production Orders, Bills of Materials, Routing structures, and Capacity Planning
• Own the lifecycle of support incidents, service requests, and change orders, working within agreed service levels
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions
• Coordinate with specialists across other SAP modules (Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Quality Management, Finance and Controlling) to resolve cross-functional challenges
• Contribute to system improvements, version upgrades, and rollout projects
• Build and maintain technical documentation that strengthens team knowledge

What You Bring

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP PP experience in support or AMS environments
• Deep expertise in at least two Production Planning components: MRP, Production Orders, Bills of Materials, Routing, or Capacity Planning
• Familiarity with integration between Production Planning and Materials Management, Sales, Quality, and Finance functions
• A customer-oriented, solution-driven mindset with proactive problem-solving abilities
• Fluent German language skills (highly valued)
• Knowledge of S/4HANA Production Planning systems (preferred)
