Sales Trainer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Sales Trainer to join their UK operations on a 12-month fixed-term contract (with possibility of extension). This is an office-first position based in London.

Our client is experiencing significant growth across their field sales operations, and they need someone who can transform new hires into confident, high-performing representatives from day one. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging onboarding experiences for up to 60 new field sales representatives per month, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging onboarding programmes for new field sales representatives through live workshops and self-directed learning content
• Lead role-play assessments and accreditations to evaluate sales readiness and provide constructive feedback
• Track activation rates and performance metrics to measure training impact and identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with the existing training team to design and continuously improve programmes that drive sales volume, quality, and product adoption
• Collaborate with Territory Managers, recruiters, and Sales Enablement teams to share insights on candidate readiness and early performance
• Take ownership of new hire performance from initial onboarding through their first successful sales

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering live and virtual sales training, including role-play facilitation and accreditation sessions
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and feedback skills with the ability to engage people at different experience levels
• Demonstrated ability to connect training initiatives directly to commercial outcomes such as activation rates and sales results
• Experience creating and adapting training materials, assessments, and self-directed content for high-volume environments
• Strong knowledge of digital learning platforms (LMS), sales tools, and blended learning approaches
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of the UK to deliver in-person training
• Commercial mindset with the ability to take ownership without being asked
