Sales Manager

Willis Johnson Wealth is seeking a Sales Manager for our Briargrove, Houston office. In this full-time position, you'll lead our Client Development team to drive consistent pipeline growth and improved sales performance, while maintaining responsibility for your own client relationships and revenue contributions.

About the Role

This hands-on leadership position combines team management with individual selling responsibility. You'll direct your team's outbound and inbound prospecting activities, mentor sales professionals, and contribute directly to closing business. The role is accountable for team performance metrics, sales strategy execution, and building a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a Client Development team to meet and exceed sales objectives
• Drive pipeline development through structured outbound and inbound prospecting activities
• Enhance sales conversion rates and optimize the sales cycle
• Set sales strategy, manage forecasts, and report on key performance indicators
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales professionals
• Demonstrate sales excellence through your own client relationships and deal closings
• Collaborate with operations and marketing to refine the prospect-to-client experience

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of sales management or sales leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and elevating team performance
• Proficiency with sales analytics, CRM platforms, and data-driven decision making
• Strong communication and coaching capabilities
• Success in both inbound and outbound selling environments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
